THE DREAM

Let me whisper something funny
I dreamed last night you called me 'honey'
You kissed my check and hugged me tight
I was surprised and freeze with delight

I couldn't believe it was all true
So I grabbed your hips and kissed you too
You slapped my face as you smiled
You kissed me again after a while

I greatly suspected it was a dream
So I decided to bring you somewhere dim
I hurried up, I did everything
You just let me, you kept smiling

I still couldn't believe we were lovers
You've been the girl I dreamed since first grader
If it's a dream I don't want to awake forever
I told you 'I loved you a thousand times and over

Then I woke up and you were there
I was surprised in bed we share
Then I realized you are my darling
My heart forgot we had a happy ending.
