      You'd like to think you're a logical creature
You got brains and morals with that you're sure
Still the truth you're ruled by emotions
Love, hate, fears an desires are what controlled your actions

A little kid once planned to buy books for school
When he got the money he bought toys like a fool
A farmer sold his carabao to buy a tractor
After the sale he instead bought TV and refregirator

Humans love to impose reasons to others
When it comes to his own he no longer cares
He chased comfort, secirity, fun and happiness
While all previous commitments becomes broken promises

A lady once said she's not looking for good looks to marry
When an addict cute funk came she run with him in a hurry
A guy promised to finish college and avoid seductions
When his pretty classmate smiled he spent to her his fund for tuition

Humans are truly creatures of deceptions
Fooled by his beliefs ruled by his emotions
Morality are just facade true aim is self preservation
This is the ugly truth, only the wise see it in action.
