PRIDE AND HUMILITY

      I got a boss his name Mr. Pride
He insist I'm talented, should flaunt it and not hide
He thinks I'm handsome and very bright
He wants me to argue with everything and prove I'm always right

I had a friend his name is Humility
He advised me to be patient and accept reality
He knows I'm very capable yet wants me to learn more
He told me to shut up and let my actions speak they'll listen for sure

But Mr. Pride is very loud I'm so overwhelmed
I'm inclined to listen, to his wishes I gave in
After following his orders I realized I lost more friends
I felt confused and troubled due to his caprices and whims

Humility told me from my boss Pride I should resign
He promised to guide me true wisdom I must find
Without Mr. Pride I can differentiate light from darkness
Only then I can live with true peace and happiness
