THE PATH

I was once mad and discontented
I was not happy I feel deserted
I needed care I needed love
No one is there I feel so sad

So I declared total rebellion
I packed my things and left alone
I'm going to search the path of happiness
I need enlightenment I must confess

I meet this man who owns nothing
He look so happy he kept smiling
I asked him what's his secret to become happy
He said forget your self and serve everybody

And so I did as he advised
I learned to serve and compromised
Then I realized I felt so happy
Seeing many people grateful to me

I finally found the path to happiness
By serving others with pure kindness
To get something one must learn to give 
Its the true golden rule, now I believe.
