GOOD MORNING LEYTE!

As I prepare to start a long day
I lazily wake-up and started to pray
I put on my shoes for a morning jog
While its still dark with the thin fog

The surroundings is serene and too quiet
I started to jog as the cold air bites
I brought with me my small camera
To capture natures beauty and its aura

I run slowly as I catch my breath
I saw the countryside and it looks so sweet
My legs got tired and started aching
I'm slowly getting fat and my belly is bulging

So I took a break and get some pause
I took some pictures as my subtle excuse
Lo and behold there's the scenery
I took more photos as I admired its beauty

The paved highway runs straight and endless
On its side are wet rice field growing in peace
As the sun slowly rise in the mountain sides
The wonder of nature can no longer hides

The air is pure its rivers are clean
If I live here long I surely won't complain
Though there's some factories of virgin oil company
They burn coco shells with smokes on their chimneys

This is the kind of place I've been dreaming
A simple life and a clean living
But once we finished project and repairing
I won't ever forget this unforgettable fine morning. Bow!
