VENUS

Have you seen a planet with your naked eyes?
In those dark lonely nights while staring the skies?
I just saw one myself early this very morning
When I woke up about 5 a.m. for a 30 minute jogging

If you don't believe me I got some pictures
Its bigger to be a star I am very sure
Though its too small for a moon just for comparison
I dare you tomorrow to find it on your own

I suspect it was Venus the goddess of beauty
Perhaps she got bored she revealed herself to me
Maybe she knew when I see her I'll make her a poem
She also posed for my camera confident and shining

I know I'm not the first poet that planet Venus is flirting
She'd charmed men before me including prince and kings
But once she read this poem her mind will surely change
She'll make me her favorite admirer bless me with great things

Perhaps she knew too I am like her, brilliant yet very lonely
Gifted with charm and beauty but only few eyes could see
So she decided to get bold allowing her self to be seen
So I could paint her rare beauty and brilliance in a poem!. Bow!
