POETS

I can't believe I'm stupid enough to make myself a poet
Trying to express ideas, precious time just put to waste
Nobody ever cared with poets who lived before
My poems will not last I'm certain and I'm sure

Yet there's happiness in every poem, nobody can deny
Some maybe full of sadness some even makes you cry
Because poems are songs of the souls, it trikes deep within
Once you feel connected, your heart silently sing

Read a poem each day as sort of inner theraphy
It's like your soul's vacation to a paradise of unseen beauty
But never expect some excitement like what you see in a movie
Poem's effects are more lasting, it keeps you going everyday

Never hessitate to feel, the sadness of every word
It's like experiencing the pain of a man hit by a sword
You'll learn to be soldier, without going to the battlefield
You'll learn how to be a rebel, without getting your self killed

The conveyed happiness in each poem may not be that sweet
The lessons that it brings are what you shouldn't forget
Because no happy feelings are guaranteed to last
Emotions are true roller coasters, it dives and climbs very fast

As the poet get's tired his poems starts to fade
Yet with little appreciation his energy will come in parade
There was once a quote that is about 200 years old
"Poets are the unacknowledged legislators of the world".
